It helps us identify you as our customer and allows you to place orders through our site. Every user that registers with CultRent.com will be required to provide a unique username. If the username you select is already taken, you will be asked to provide a different username. All information and activity within your account, including additional identifying information, account preferences, rental queue, rental history, and current and previous orders, are all connected by your username.

Your full name, billing address, and credit card number are used only to charge you for services and/or products which you have purchased. This information is securely stored within our database as part of your account. This allows us to automatically bill your credit card for all membership-related fees, including recurring monthly charges, one-time purchases, and sales tax if applicable. Your shipping address is used by us to ship products to that you have rented or purchased. You can update billing and shipping information at any time by logging in to CultRent.com and going to your Account Settings page and making the appropriate changes.

Your e-mail address is used by us to communicate with you about activity related to your account. Any changes to your billing or shipping information or account status will automatically generate an e-mail addressed to you indicating the changes made. Likewise, all rentals sent to you and received from you will generate e-mails addressed to you to keep you informed about the status of all orders you have placed with us. Additionally, any order you place for a one-time purchase will also generate an e-mail addressed to you with the details of that order.

From time to time, we may use your e-mail address to let you know of additional products and services about which you might be interested. You can choose not to receive such e-mails by changing your Notification Preferences on your Account Settings page.

Your phone number is only used by our customer service department to contact you concerning your account and/or activity related to your account, and will only be used as a last resort if we cannot contact you through email. Your phone number will never be used for marketing purposes.

Additional Information We Collect

As part of the normal functionality of our site, we will track your current rental selections, called your rental queue, and your current one-time purchases. This information is used by both CultRent.com and you to determine which products you have selected for rental or purchase. We will also track your rental history and one-time purchase history. This information is provided as a convenience for you so you will know which products you have previously rented or purchased and when.

All of this information is password protected within your account, and is only visible by you and the customer support staff at CultRent.com. Our customer support staff is authorized to view this information only when providing account- or order-related customer service directly to you.

CultRent.com provides a method for customers to post reviews of all products we rent and sell. This information is requested from all customers on an optional basis for the purpose of allowing our customers to communicate their opinions of our products to other customers and potential customers. This information will be made publicly available for all visitors to see, whether or not they are members of our site. Once a product review is posted, it can only be modified or removed by CultRent.com technical staff. As such, no customer should post any personally identifying information within a product review. CultRent.com cannot be held liable for any information posted by a customer within a product review.

Non-Identifying Information We Collect

CultRent.com will collect and store the following non-identifying information from each visitor to our website: the name of the domain from which you access the Internet, the date and time you access our site, the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our site, and the name, type, and version of the browser used to visit our website. We also track the number of times each page of our site is visited and the number of times each product is viewed. This information is used by us to analyze how our website is used, which helps us enhance our website to better suit customers wants and needs. All of this non-identifying information is collected from all visitors to our site, whether or not those visitors are registered members.
