    Q. How Do Online Rentals Work At Cultrent?

    Cult Rent provides the Ultimate Video Store Experience! You get 24/7 access to hundreds of cult movies, and with our advanced search technology you can quickly find your favorite movies by actor, actress, or director. You can build a wish-list of movies that they would like to see that we call a “queue”. You can leave movies in their queue, and then click on the title when they are ready to have it sent, and pay just for that rental at rates as low as $1.95 per title. You will recieve an email confirming your order and an additional email confirming when your order has been shipped. Your DVDs will soon arrive in your mailbox in a pre-addressed custom envelope for easy return.

    Q. How much is shipping?

    Shipping depends on your location. We provide rentals to customers around the globe. Movies will be delivered to you in a 2-Way DVD Envelope, which includes a pre-addressed mailer for you to return your DVD to us when you’re done watching it. You will be notified via e-mail every time a title is shipped and received.

    Q. Can I keep the DVD that I've rented?

    You can keep the DVDs you have on hand by selecting ‘KEEP IT’ option in the list of rented titles. You will be charged a 'Keep It' fee which is usually lower than 'BUY IT' price for the new DVD or 'Used' DVD price.

    Q. What are the rental Minimum and Maximum?

    Usually you can rent a minimum of 3 DVDs and maximum of 9 DVDs per order. Our minimum requirement is established to minimize the shipping cost.

    How to use your Queue

    Q. What is a “Queue”?

    A queue is a wish list of movies that you would like to see.

    Q. How Do I arrange movies in my Queue?

    First, search for movies! Once you are signed in, you can browse by category (erotic, cult, exploitation, etc.), or search for movies based on your favorite performers, directors, or titles. Once you find a movie you like, simply click on the “Add to Queue” button, and it will be added to your list. You will be able to rent it or buy it from there at any time.

    Yes, you can rent the DVDs if you live ouside USA and your shipping time will be extended accordind to your location.

    Payments

    Q. How can I pay for my movies?

    We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We cannot accept Checks or Money Orders at this time. You must be 21 years of age to order. When placing an order, please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (the address your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information may cause your order to be rejected. CultRent will only ship orders to the cardholder.

    Q. What happens if I keep the DVD longer than 2 weeks?

    In the event that the movie is not postmarked by the return date on the dvd sleeve, you can continue to keep the movie out for up to 21 days for an additional $0.95 per day. In the event that the movie is not received by the 28th day after the original rental expiration, you will be billed an additional fee (over and above additional viewing fees) and you own the title. You can also keep the movie by selecting this option through your Queue at any time (‘KEEP IT’ fee will apply).

    DVD Compatibility

    Q. What kind of DVDs am I going to receive from Cultrent?

    Since most of the Cult DVDs are printed in very limited editions a lot of our titles are DVD-Rs. Please refer to your your DVD player manual to verify compatibility.

    Q. Will my DVD player play Cultrent DVDs?

    Most DVD players are automatically ready to play our DVD-R's. Some DVD players have a hard time reading the discs and may not support the DVD-R format. This is rare and usually only happens with older DVD players. You can check this LIST to see if your player is compatible.

    Q. What do the video source quality ratings on titles mean?

    Some of the DVD-R titles listed on this site are transferred from extremely rare sources that have never been released to the American (and/or International) public, or they are out of print. Thus the quality varies wildly. While most of our prints are very good, some (because of their rarity, coupled with unavoidable transfer distortions) are less than perfect. If this occurs, we'll specify whether the quality is not perfect.

    Shipping

    Q. How long will it take to receive my movies?

    All DVDs are sent via 1st class mail through the US Postal Service. The average time it takes to receive your items is 3-5 days (not including Sundays & holidays). If you live in Canada it will take 4-6 days. If you live in Europe or Australia it will take 4-7 days. Please allow up to 7 days for your items to arrive. If it has been more than 7 days and your order has not arrived, please contact support (Contact Us page).

    Q. Will you notify me when you ship and receive my DVDs?

    Yes. You will receive an email each time we ship you a DVD rental. You will also receive emails confirming our receipt of your DVDs once we check them in through our return process.

    Q. How much do I have to pay for return shipping?

    That depends on your location. US customers usually pay around $1 for return shipping. (3 stamps is enough for 3 DVD envelope). Return shipping for international customers varies by region. Customers from Europe usually pay $2-$3 for 3 DVD envelope. Don't forget that you can choose to keep DVD (by loggin in to your account and selecting Keep DVD opion for a low nominal fee) and save on return shipping.
